Floor Anchored Headrail Braced Toilet Partitions

Floor Anchored Headrail Braced Toilet Partitions are the most commonly used style for bathroom partitions. The installation process involves mounting the pilasters to the floor first and then attaching the headrail, which connects to both the pilasters and the walls.

This design is stabilized by the headrail at the top of the pilaster and is typically made of anodized aluminum with an "anti-grip" feature, making it difficult to pull down or hang from. The pilasters are usually 80 inches high, extending 12 inches above the doors, while the headrail is 1-2 inches thick and includes end plugs for wall connections. Headrail-braced partitions are compatible with both wood and concrete floors, provided the floors are lightweight.

Headrail-braced partitions offer stronger support compared to floor-mounted styles and are recommended for high-traffic areas such as office buildings, restaurants, and schools. These configurations are also suitable for commercial projects due to their cost-effectiveness and ease of installation. Professional carpenters and contractors can install these partitions without difficulty, and they do not require special flooring or ceiling constructions. Experts recommend headrail-braced partitions for areas with high ceilings.

However, this mounting style has some disadvantages. It is not recommended for areas where pilasters cannot be mounted to solid floors and does not allow for complete floor access, making it difficult for cleaning personnel to clean the floors effectively.
